Probably skiing in summer is better than in winter - days are long, warm and pleasant. After skiing the day goes on and there is enough time to do so many exciting things - travel, enjoy the nature and mountains, sun and local dishes, architecture and culture - all of that can be done in a fresh air topped with healthy meals.
Try something new this summer - bikini skiing, sunbath on a snow, riding bicycle on mountain trails, visit ice museum, learn paragliding, climb mountains. You just have to chose from more than 100 activities - we will take care about the rest. Everybody are welcome - youngster and their parents too - we have thought about everyone. ABOUT RAMSAU REGION IN AUSTRIARamsau village is in a valley at height of 1200m surrounded by mountains and the Dacshtein glacier. In summer the temperature in the village can go up to 24-30C but on the glacier at 2700m the temperatures can go even bellow zero. There are many cycling paths around Ramsau village as well as a lot of trails which goes up in the mountains. Our camp house is located close to Ramsau beach, where you can jump in water from a tower or a springboard. Next to the beach there are trampolines, tobogganing and the 1500m high Ritisberg hill.
An "Ice Palace" is built in the Dachstein glacier under snow and ice with rooms, halls and sculptures made of ice. A live image bellow from Rittisberg hill. SNOWPARK AND DACHSTEIN GLACIEROne of the largest and most modern glacier skiing resorts accessible in summer which is also the closest glacier to Baltics. Huge snowpark with more than 30 obstacles and a lift dedicated only for the snowpark - that means NO LINES. In just 5 minutes a brand new gondola will take you up from a green valley to the 2700m high glacier with more than 3m of snow there. Even in the hottest summers there are 12km of slopes, a snowpark and 5 lifts servicing the area.
ACCOMMODATION AND EXTRASWe will stay in a typical Austrian mountain house with all the amenities 2-4 persons per room with nutritious breakfast and delicious dinner. In the evenings we will watch movies and videos from the glacier, play some Playstation and various table games.
